As a mother and grandmother, I am acutely aware that we need to get involved in our local school board to preserve parental rights. That's why I'm stepping forward to run for Scotts Valley School Board. I want more of our kids' educational choices to be made by parents than by Sacramento or the teachers union. No one knows your kids better than you do!

As a small business owner, I also know how important it is to understand the budgetary and policy decisions our school board faces, and to navigate the morass of government regulations handed down by Washington, Sacramento, and especially our own County Health Department. We need parents' voices to be heard once more, and I will be honored to be that voice.
